After IUT, I worked for 1 ½ years at the LSTM (Laboratoire des Symbioses Tropicales et Méditerranéennes) in Montpellier before being recruited here in 2001.

RESEARCH TOPICS

I work in the group "Etiology and epidemiology of phloem bacteria".
Its research priority is the characterization of mollicutes and proteobacteria in order to: (1) develop and develop molecular detection tools, (2) study their epidemiology, (3) study their biology, the reactions of infected plants and the mechanisms of their interactions with their insect vectors. These bacteria are transmitted to plants by hemiptera insects. They are regulated, this implies handling them in greenhouses and confined laboratories.
